Hi, in the past week i have kinda been converted to a mac....in some ways....well at least when it comes to laptops i know i would go with a macbook. but.....right now i have a Intel d101ggc motherboard (i am thinking the chipset of my board will be the pending reason of this answer)and i want to know if it is possible to put the mac os x on my pc???? i like the way it looks....but have a nice ass pc that i built....and don't want to bey a whole pc just for the compatibility of an OS. please respond....thx a lot
Yes there is a way of having mac on pc, but not in "legal Terms" it must be a hacked osx version. Go to this page: -http://www.osx86project.org/ You can download mac os x86 in bittorrent.com
i am confused.....i have bootmagic and partition magic already. i don't know what that osx86 even is for. the site addy u gave me didn't really help me out. but thx n e ways. i am just wondering if it is possible to do....which i guess it is. i will try installing the disc i have on a seperate partition by booting with BM. thanks n e ways....btw. this forum is still open for discussion and advice. thanx guys. and u cant talk about torrents on this site...its illegal....and i would prefer for this site to stay up....i LOVE it.
Osx86 is a hacked version of mac os x, hacked for use on a pc, you canĀ“tĀ“install mac os x on a pc from an originall copy the site i have u provides info on how to use osx86
It isn't illegal to talk about bittorrent. In fact, bittorrent itself isn't illegal either. There is no risk sharing those links. The illegality is sharing copyrighted material through bittorrent. Bittorrent is just the tool. It also has legitimate uses.
i used osx86 way back when if first hit. I did run quite well, as it should since apple has been codeing for intel use since osx was officially released. There was a list of components that worked natively in osx86 and i belive,if i remember correctly, that the dev. units were intel motherboard based. which would help you since you have an intel motherboard.
