Mac OS X86 install problems

    ok so i just sanged of copy of mac os x86 and i need to install it on pc but i keep getting this error STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE can some one please help on this i have been trying to get this working ages. here the system spec i am trying to install it one.

    intel pentuim 4 @ 2.6ghz
    asrock P4VM900
    20 gig ide hdd
    80 gig sata hdd
    sata dvd rom drive

    i google it and i keep going round in circles lol. as any had the same problem and worked out howto fix it yet.

    thanks for any input you can giv me.

    also have an AMD system but can get it to install kernal panics when loading the cpu.
