hey there everyone. i recently got a new macbook, and well i really don't know my way around which are good and bad softwares. well for the 2 mentioned in the topic title specifically.

so anyways i was just wondering does any one know of a photoviewer that runs like ACDSee (which i had on pc). i want something that can save the setting of like 150% magnification and can be scrolled via my u,d,l,r key pad and also skip between images using say the space bar.

and as for a torrent program. i'm not too good on these in general. i've tried azureus (on pc). everyone says it's good. however i never got it to run properly (don't know any settings or anything). so i just used flashget as my downloader for everything. so yeah anyone know of any good torrent programs.?

    well thanks in advance guys/girls.

Never heard of the photo software you mentioned...
I would give iPhoto a go though.

As for torrent downloads I would use Transmission.

    Acdsee is cheap garbage software.

They charge you 99.99 for nothing.

    For photo software i recommend.

    1. photoshop elements $99.99 recommend buying it dont download it communitcates with the internet.

    2. Gimp free open source photoshop clone

    3. Aperture 2.0 (apples top of the line alternative $199.99 and worth every pennie.
