Madden 10 verified with abgx360

The game came out today in the US though didn't it? They shouldn't be adding anything to the database if it doesn't come from a legit retail rip. How many people even look at their site? Most just use the program. They made that mistake with X-Men Origins: Wolverine, adding stealth files from a non-retail rip and then eventually replacing them with legit ones once the game had been released, but they shouldn't be doing that if they want people to trust their app, because the consequences of playing a bad rip could be an Xbox Live ban.

 

Yeah, that's true. And the Wolverine story is the reason I don't play rips early. You never know if they are retail.

I agree they shouldn't add to the DB before release. I think what happened is that homeboy who ripped it(NiG team) provided good evidence that it was legit and had good street cred, so they listed it, but put it as 'unofficial'. Just my theory.

 

If they had done that, then the stealth files wouldn't be changed when you autofix the ISO (assuming you're using the NiG release and not the ARROGANE one), as it would be the stealth files from the NiG release that are being used for verification.

Can you make any sense of the explanation?

I'm not sure if they're talking about the name of the game, or the name of the uploader, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to say "untill the name has been checked and added" about an uploader, then again, it doesn't make a lot of sense to say that about the name of the game either.

 

He was just saying that the game will say 'unofficial' until it can be 100% verified to be a legit retail rip, which should happen very soon.

 

The problem is that the NIG version should be the legit one with all the prof but it won't pass on abgx so there is something wrong FOR SURE here

 

so now the database just says "madden 10" anyone know if its been verified now or did the name just change?

 

I just saw that as well. Im sure this means that it has been verified. I obviously can't say for sure as i am just another member as most here are but im hoping thats what it means. However, i am starting to wonder as others are because i downloaded ARROGANE and the site i use just dropped in numbers on his download (by 30).

 

this sucks, i cant find any info on the subject. i just wanna be sure after all this confusion

 

I also just ran abgx and it had autofixes for it. Wondering if this patches it 100%. I would assume so. Any thoughts?

 

i would assume so too, but this whole deal seems so odd. looks like everyone that was in this thread saw the change in the database and they all left to play madden! lol

 

Madden NFL 10 X360 UNLiMiTED has been uploaded 2hrs ago. wounder if this is the best upload. im new to all this not sure what the UNLiMiTED is its says it pal but its RF. are the pal RF safe for US consoles?

Release info:

There have been two versions out already. First one was nuked for being a
newsgroup/p2p repack with an earlier DVD Mastering date. Some other group did
a USA retail proper. This release wasnt spread on .eu sites well.
Since sites still don't seem to have a proper release, we'll bring you one,
being region free, retail and properly tagged for your archives. Do
what you wanna do with it. Nuke it, keep it, we dont care.

If USA groups would finally learn to tag their releases properly ...

Region Free !! And no, you don't use a stupid RF tag either! It doesn't
matter where a release is from (origin) as long as it is region free!

I'm ripping Madden 10 right now with a Lite-ON IX 1.6 0800. I will post CRC info in just a bit.

Here it is. Madden 10 ripped with a Lite-ON IX1.6 0800. Source is NTSC. I ran this at AutoFix Level 0.

 

So since leerage's CRC matches the NiG release, I assume we can consider the NiG release legit and the previous release non-legit. Thanks for the info, leerage.

Look at the screen shots from the Arrogane releases and compare CRCs.

The Unlimited release is nuked on ABGX due to being a dupe of the NiG release.
