Mafia cd1 problem

    Yo guys...

    I have the really amazing game Mafia, except when I try to install it, the install bars are on and just when its about to begin :"Please insert mafia cd1".
    Thing is, cd1 is already in!!!
    this is simply driving me nuts!
    i hope one of you guys can help me with this problem.

    Might be a bad disc. I'd take it back and get a new one.

    Well, thanx for the advice but the thing is that i installed the game about a year ago with the same CD,
    and it was working perfectly.
    There seems to be a problem with the A1.dta file on the CD

    Stupid Question: scratches... dust? If you have a different optical drive, try that one (worked for me a couple times, some drives are less finkcy than others)
