Magic 3 Chip Install

    Hello all, I'm relatively new the the modding scene and just have a few concerns that I need to be addressed. I recently purchased a magic 3 chip for my ps2 and would like to install it, but I need to know what kind of wire I should use and what kind of soldering iron tip.

    I also have the install guide for the chip and need to know how the pcb comes apart (its 2 layers connected somehow) I just dont want to snap it and have a broken ps2. I do know how to solder (have more than 10 years experience).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    THe PCB is 2 PCB's connected, do I have to desolder the connection to get the boards apart?
