i am in dublin Nthell. fave a subscription to sky via dish. Thinking of going down the dreambox route on the dish. seen some stuff about a magicstick with 1 of fee. Any one know of this. Do i still need to connect to router.

You know the saying if it looks to good to be true, well this is! If you really look at the item above how the heck can anyone provide all those different encryptions support and provide all thse updates for a lifetime????????? It's a con a usb stick that runs a dreambox image with some clines included i.e a server I wouldn't waste my time with it. P.s there was a memory card out some time back called the magic card offering the same stuff it lasted less than 6 months
Can we get a few more comments on this magic stick & dreambox set up, is it for real ?? or a con as stated? Also ,is there a sat set up that WILL work,and continue to work in Ireland ,even if it is without sly services, that is inexpensive and can be set up relativly easily?.Giving a decent amount of WATCHABLE stations for both adults and kids alike.

lads i used to have technomate 1500.all i did was buy protek ip hook it up to sat and router update packages and set sat freqency. no extra money or paying for servers i would not give my credit cards details to anyone i dont know or thrust hope i put u on the right track.cheers
hey hows it goin. soo is it still working fine then. what do u need then just dish motor and what else to get it running. as well when or if the flash goes is there software avaible 4 it. wats the story with other users of that box????
Google skynolimit and you'll find the forum that supports this box where you'll find How To's and channel list etc. Nanoxx 9600ip/Protek 9600ip are the same box and the forum has nanoxx in the name so you'll see it in the list found think it's one of the first. I have one. Good box. You are reliant on constant Internet connection and their server being available at all times though (which of course is not always possible). The server has been attacked only recently and was down again for a few days. A lot of football on it though and very easy to update.
