main concept mpeg codeg alternative?

    is there any alternate to getting main concepts MPEG codec? it's 149 bucks and i just reformattted my PC and can't find the back up of it. I've used "stinky's mpeg encoder" but WMP 10 is still giving me trouble... any good alternatives you guys recomend?????
