The main reason I like this program is for the ability to stretch the movie & make it a little more comfortable to watch 1st off I did 1 copy of the movie it was fine..except I stretched it a little 2 much..so I was going to do another copy Had a power outage when it came back on is when the problems started So I did another copy looked fine but no sound..did another copy same thing I uninstaled..reinstaled figured corrupt program made another short test no sound tried reinstal all codecs...ALL other converters work fine..[ProCoder Divx2DVD etc]All A OK It's the same AVI I hi i just got this app it loads its own codecs now i think but could be for h.267 not sure? but not sure why theres no sound now? but you metion a comp crash perhaps sound has gone from pc?
Well everything that I have read about MainConcept's h.264 codec/encoder is that the encoder is buggy and often crashes and the encoder's quality is not too special. Better off using x264 or nero for h.264/AVC encoding.
Got it fixed..Thanks everybody What I like about it is u can stretch to remove any closed caption that is in the blackened area & Re-set it to 16.9 it gives u a larger pic on your TV it is still in W/S format & the stretching does not look out of purportion...as quality goes..it really does not seem any better then the rest u find on the net..lets face it for quality U can't beat an orig DVD...But anyway thanks for responding
