    im back again...
I got a good advise to try the mainconcept mpeg encoder, and it seemed pretty simple. It was also VERY fast, did the job in about 1:30 hours....
nyway, at the end i got this error, or i dont know when i got cuz i was sleepin =)
M031:Unable to write a DVD nav pack to program file
V007:Unable to write picture data to the output file
V006:Unable to write a picture header to the output file
    Error in converting:
    The parameter is incorrect.

well, i opened the folder and tried to run the new movie, and it worked jsut fine, (Except the ratio was screwed so the whole picture was pÄressed together from the sides, but i think i can fix that) but! the movie that was converted was only like 1 hour 30 min. long, while the real movie is 1 hour 47 min.
    i used this config:
    Mpeg type = DVD
Video MODE = NTSC (the movie has a 23 fps frame rate)
STREAM TYPE= program (video + audio)
    AUDIO MODE = layer 2

    SO PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
this is the 4th method i try and it keeps screwin up by either no sound or partial sound etc. have still not successsfully burned a dvd with any sound at all....

    THANKS A LOT!

Dunno if it was me that suggested MainConcept , but it is more than likely as it's what I use.

    I normally use this config:
    Mpeg type = DVD
Video MODE = PAL (25fps frame rate)
STREAM TYPE= program (video + audio)
    AUDIO MODE = layer 2

But most of the films I d/l are NTSC so MainConcept usually has default settings where the audio (once the DVD drop down has been chosen) is set to LPCM <-- [try that setting instead]

Also if you had NTSC file it should be 29.X fps frame rate & not 23fps !! (pass , as to why that is mate)
    P.S. Audio is to be 48000 Hz & not 44100 Hz !!!: )

Give me a shout if I can help any further ...
