Mainconcept MPEG encoder problem

    When I convert an avi to dvd the resulting file has video but no audio track when I specified one to be created. Is there any explanation or way I can fix this?

    Mainconcept wont work with audio encoded in AC3, you will need to find another app.

    Yes it will if you install the "AC3 ACM Decompressor" ....

    MainConcept will not work with VBR MP3 audio in your AVI file which is the Format used in Most downloaded movies on the Net these days...

    You have to decompress the audio first before encodeing the file with MainConcept or any encoder really as Most encoder will not accept VBR MP3 audio....

    PS: you can find the AC3 ACM decompressor if you do a Google search and you can decompress the audio with Virtual-Dub....
