I have MainConcept H.264 encoder and I was wondering what the best settings are for encoding dv avi's to be put onto a DVD for the best quality. Under the OUTPUT FORMAT it gives a list of choices IE. MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DVD, H.264 Main, and others. which one is the best to use? DVD? or MPEG-2? I have been told to have a high bit rate when encoding so I went uder the advanced setting and saw the bit rate set a variable with a max and min to stay between. Should I set sifferent settings for the bitrate, because it is at max=8000, average=6000, min=3800. I thought I heard somewhen say always have it at 9000+
Hope you guys can help thanks...
