    folks

quick question - any ideas how to shrink a dvd to a really small amount (so it can fit on phone) - i.e. an episode of a show shrinking down to around 30Meg or so.

quality not really an issue, since it will only be viewed on a 1"square screen...

any thoughts on whether this is possible - dvd shrink doesn't seem to want to compress enough

    cheers

cheers for that - will give it a go, but not sure if the phone in question will be able to play .ratdvd files - probably only .avi or .mpg files

    cheers once again

Mate what you could do is......

Search for the episode on a P2P network(i use limewire pro) download it in avi mpeg mpg whatever video format

Then use Nokia Multimedia Converter pro to change it to a 3gp file which works on my phone (Sanyo S750) and 3gp files work on most video phones.

I don't know how much Nokia Convertor pro costs as I got it with a previous phone. It might be freeware, If you can't find use a P2P to find it

Thats how i got the little britain series onto my phone hope this helps a little more :)
