I've been looking for a solution to my problem for months...any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! So when I play any of my hundreds of AVI files, after about ten minutes the picture stutters and then freezes...the audio keeps going for another 30 seconds and then gaps up and stops as well. I can pause and then unpause in a bit and it will play for another minute before it does the same thing. I've tried messing with every kind of codec, trial and error. I thought i had it fixed a while back, but then i had to reformat my HD and the problem seems to have returned. A good majority of my files played just fine for quite a while with no problems, so i know it's not a problem with my files. Any kind of system info or whatnot I can provide. Anyone who can help would be the best....simply the best (que cheezy 80's music) Thanks in advance... -Justin.
hmmm , are you trying to play these files in windows media player? If so try another player such as media player classis and VLC media player.
