Right, here goes...its gonna need someone that is both sober AND knows what there doing for this My plan is to build a secondary pc unit for the sole purpose of running it as a multi emulator "console" rather than as a pc, therefor just connecting it via hdmi to my lcd tv rather than a pc, and having joypads attached but no keyboard or mouse etc... Hoping your with me so far.. Building the pc, setting it up and installing with the emulators etc is not the problem for me, but what I reeeeealy need help with is finding a way of creating an .exe menu listting which emulator/console to start, to put in the startup files for windows so that it boots on entry. The point of the above is so that it appears as console like as possible without the need to have a keyb/mouse and physically find the directory of each emulator etc.. Im not great with programming knowledge either, hence the help request but like a donkey, hang a carrot for me and ill slowly follow
Hi, You could use somthing like GameeX for your menu, save you having to make one yourself. It's got a very MCE-Esque frontend and can be used standalone in Windows or as a plugin for MCE. http://www.gameex.net/ Hope it helps.
