First make sure that the PS2 game supports 480P. Here's a list: http://www.hdtvarcade.com/hdtvforum/index.php?autocom=custom&page=ps2ab
The games i got is on that list so is there a adapter or decoder? also im going to get a 360 it runn at 720p.
Try connecting the component cables to standard component in. Not Hi def. It will play dvds 480p, but the manual states: this product is compatable for use with component video inputs (y Cb/Pb/Pr0, but cannot be used with inputs in HDTV format (y Pb Pr).
What? Make sure that your audio red isn't in component red. Also make sure that the green (Y) is in the green and blue (Pb or Cb) is in the blue. ??? Y-Pb-Pr = Y-Cb-Cr Ced?
I got the plugs in the right spot.I dont have a bulit in tuner thats why i cant play my game on the 420p channel i was look for a decoder to get past this. Also im looking to buy a 360 real soon i wont be able to play my games on the 720p channel either if i dont have some kind of decoder or scambler.I can only put it in the regular component input slots.
You don't need a tuner or anything else to watch a movie or play a video games on your tv. If your tv can except an SD, ED, or HD tv signal then it will. If it can't then it won't. Convert component video into what? Ced
