Hi I have just gone to turn on my xbox with my modchip enabled (i have an xecuter 3, has been working perfectly until now)and nothing comes up on screen, and the eject LED doesnt light up. If i try to boot up without the modchip it goes through the flubber movie and then it says on screen that i need to contact customer support. Things i have tried: I have tried making sure my mod chip is sitting on the pin header straight-not it I have tried pushing in all the IDE cables to make sure they havent come out-not it And the last thing i did to fix it was taking out my 200GB HDD and putting the orifional back in-doesnts work with or without chip. Somebody PLEASE HELP ME, I NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
blech sorry dude im just as confused as u. im kinda having the same problem whenever i try to boot it with the chip on it says "NO xecuter3 chip detected" does anyone have any idea what thats about and how to fix it? and i put slayers evox autoinstaller on a cd-rw disc and followed their instructions but i cant get to the evolutionx dashboard! help me! plz
hey david, are you positive that your d0 connection has not come unsoldered. Although normally this would make your machine frag, it's worth a try to check it.
xMoldx did you flash the bios correctly ..........? and with what bios did you use i'm not familiar with the x3 only x2 but i'll try and help where i can
davidt800 i'm not so sure but when i did flashed my chip .... and only two of my banks instead of all .......... cos i was tring to be a "Hero" my xbox was doing the same thing so i'm not saying its that but for me after i flashed all 4 banks ...... that did the trick but then again i'm using the x2
i used a bios file that i got from xbins its X3 3294.bin and for sum reason when i start up my box i cant get to the xecuter flashbios blue screen anymore i can only get to it through 256k mode andi have a pro switch on the front for the bank things which i have no idea what they do and ive just been pressing different combos but nomatter what i do it just keeps shutting off.
well from what you say that you were using it fine but now its not working ..... so you must have flashed the bios and installed a dash ... are you sure that the chip has not come out of place
i opened up my box and checked all the connection and they all seemed ok to me the chip was still fitting ok when i opened it. after i closed it erased my evox dashboard cuz i was gonna install Avalaunch or unleash x i alredy have all the unleashx and avaluanch files on my comp that i got from xbins but how do i install em to my xbox i gott ftp them right? and i think the problem with my xbox turning off when i try to boot my xbox with the chip enabled was because i probably flashed with a wrong bios.
yeah i think it was the wrong bios or you never flashed all the banks so i take it your chip is now flashed ....? you'll need to burn the avalunch and unleash and then install the dash from the cd use a good cd-rw or dvd-r and then choose to install it
Hi everyone Sorry i havent replied yet but ive been away for a few days. In the end i found out that what i was doing was i made the X3 straight on the pin header every time but then when i put the DVD drive back in it kept moving the X3.......DOH!!!!!!!!!
woooghoooo i fixed it i just flashed it again under the backup mode and it detects it so thanks for your help. bleck for sum reason i cant ftp now though and how do i change my x3 skin?
i'm not sure but i'll have a look .... why don't you use slayers auto installer if you want it let me know and i'll help you out
i alredy have a copy of the slayers auto installer disc but i heard that with the unleashx dashboard i can backup games to my hd can i do that with an evox dashboard too? i put in my slayers disc in and turned on my box but it still takes me to my xecuter3 dashboard
ok but now when i put my slayers autoinstaller disc in it goes to my xecuter dashboard and skips the slayers install screen
ok when you put slayers in did you try booting it if so what do you get... a menu should come up ..... what did you use to burn slayer on where did you get slayer from was it #xbins ..have you tried using your exercuter dash to do this...?
yes when i boot it i get my xecuter dashboard instead of the slayers autoinstaller green hazard background. i used nero v5. no i got slayers auto installer torrent from some site that i found on google. and no im not sure what u mean by that.
