Ok, heres wats been happening. I got my xbox modded from a friend and he put in some crappy ass no name brand harddrive right. The thing worked fine for a month or two{he took the modchip out . My dashboard is evolution x.}So im playin my halo 2 game and the xbox harddrive makes these loud ass beeping noises and the game freezez. i turn it off and unplug the hd wires , blow them off and put them back in . I turn back on the xbox and the things fine.when i finish playin halo2,i turn the thing off and dont turn it on til the next morning.So i turn it on and nothin happens.i unplug wires from the hd and put them back in. It works fine. But now i have to unplug and repkug the hard drive just to play the damn thing.Now ive got xlink kai and xbc. and im playin through system link.it works fine for about an hour then it beeps again. How do i fix the problem xbox dudes?Please help! -scamino1
Do you still have modchip on Xbox? you hdd is going to die. I dont think you can fix it. Make sure to install Config Magic and backup eeprom. Then ftp the whole E and C drive to PC for backup.
