Make a VCD from a VCD

    I'm a beginner How do I copy a VCD I have Nero and I also downloaded TMPEnc yesterday
    Iobviously have a burner Lite so how do I get started? Do I have to copy to Hard Disk and then burn or xcan I burn direct I have another CD Rom Read Only
    Advise
    Sorry The copy is for my sister in UK. I'm in Thailand

    As the original VCD is already in Video CD format, it should be possible to do a direct copy. Try using 'Copy CD' in Nero, but don't select 'Copy on the Fly'.

    If that doesn't work, you could also try copy the DAT files off the original Video CD (in MPEGAV directory I think) onto a folder on your hard drive. Rename the .DAT files to .MPG and record them as a new Video CD. I would recommend doing this method as a last resort as any title screens on the original Video CD will be lost.

    Sounds like a whole load of effort to me.
    Just download CloneCD - It copies anything you can throw at it, and with ClonyXXL attachment it will even break down any copy protection (Not that I'm condoning that sort of behavour you understand!)
