Is it possible to MAKE a DVD on + or -, R or RW that will play in a unmodded PStwo. the ones i made don't play once i got from spain play in black and white? PLEASE point me in the right direction! Thx Valid
ok from what I've learned up til now the only wasy to play DVD+-R on a unmodded ps2 is like swap disks or something.......the only way to play si to get your pos2 modded and the one from spain is coz its probably PAL so.....Yeah black and white isnt soo bad some people it messes up lol So yeah hope this helps but I doubt it will
Valid , all my backups play fine on PS2 or Xbox .the trick is using GOOD blank media as in Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 4X max. and your software programs make a difference too i use CloneDVD 2 with anydvd which makes the dvd region free
if you are talking about Movies then no mod is needed, just burn them and your PS2 will play them. If you are talking about games then no, you have to mod your system to play back ups
yo steimy, just to tell you not all ps2s can read backed-up DVD movies, up til now I know Version 7 does but the rest need a Chip to play them, Unless this means my friends unmodded ps2 is messed up since he cant play backed up movie DVDs.
Lordvan, your friends ps2 must be screwed, i've got a v4/v5 (not sure which)ps2 that played backups fine even before i had a modchip put in.
Sorry i was thinking about making a Movie DVD (Say Home movies) that play on a PStwo I just looked and there are several ways to make DVDS which one is the best TUT to make movie DVDs that plays on my PStwo. Does it need a menu or one of them DVD-VIDEO that auto play? Thx again Valid
