my friend is getting an iphone 4, and he is going to let me have his old iphone the only problem is that i have verizon as my service provider is there a way i can hack/install software or a sim card to make it work on my verizon network? or is this completely impossible. i have done some internet searching and i keep getting mixed answers of yes and no. im just looking for a sure answer. i also saw a chip called the Gevey-3G sim card that might possibly unlock the iphone, but i dont know if it will unlock it so it works on verizon.
The iPhone can only be used with GSM Carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile in the US). Verizon is CDMA so it is impossible.
