Hi guys, first post for me. Every question I've had so far I've found the answer to by searching so I didn't make a username till today. Anyways I bought swap magic and a slide tool online and have been usin' them for awhile, so my friend was interested in getting them as well. Problem was, the website I got my slide tool at was sold out. So I decided to make my own. I've made three slide tools that work, one of which is my own design and works better than the commercial one I bought. I was easier than I expected it to be. Anyways anyone interested in making their own let me know because I've considered making a tutorial. I searched on here and I didn't think I saw anyone talking about making them, so I hope this post isn't redundant. Anyways hope I can be helpful.

I'm not exactly sure what that question was. What I did is I took my slide card I bought, traced it in marker onto a cd, and then cut the cd out into the shape with a pair of sciccors. Except for the fact that the round cuts made in a cd with sciccors is alittle hard to do, it was really easy. Then I cut a couple strips off the remainder of the cd and taped them onto the end to make the handle. In the next couple days I'll put a template online so you can cut it out, and trace around it onto a cd. I'll also put up pictures of the original tool and my finished products.

there are already tutorials on how to make slidecards
and how to use them out on the net.

so when making your tutorial i would do something like this
template. Make sure to either make it real size so it can be
traced, or include the dimensions as show in the link.

Thanks Steimy, I had a feeling someone had made one but just didn't find it. It covers pretty much everything I was gonna do, but saves me the trouble of finding a site to host it.
