I'm trying to make a dvd from a a selection of avi files I have. the avi files i have are about 350mb so i thorght i could fit around 11 or 12 on 1 dvd but when I use Nero i will only let me put 2 avi's on 1 disc. i understand now that when put into dvd format that the files increase in size but is there a way that i can put more than 2 maybe 4 or 5 350mb files on 1 disc
Have you tried DivxtoDvd Yet? It converts most video files including Avi files. It will accept more the one file. Its a nice "Free" program. Can't beat the price HERE>>>>http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd.cfm If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Oh yea, If you live in the US, be sure to select NTSC Before you convert the files or your dvd will play in black and white.
Here is a good guide for converting AVI files, and then using DVDShrink to compress them and fit more than one file on the the DVD. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/guides.htm Look for the guide Convert any dvd file to video compliant file.
