    I'm trying to make a cd. I am wondering if anyone know's how to make a cd player a self made with a graphic. Like alot of enhanced cd's have.

    I also am looking into how maybe a flash video could be used on a cd-r
    for instance you put the cd-r in and it plays the flash or whatever is used for a video before you start....alot of enhanced cd's...what software do I need and what are the proper files to use.

    Also something simpler....maybe a simple .ico
    how do i get a .ico to appear and perhaps a video to automatically open....do only .exe files open what sites or places do you suggest to make a really nice cd-r that is enhanced with video's and nice icons and such players.....

    Not 100% sure, i've done something similar in the past by writing the files I want on the CD and when I had it all together, I wrote an autorun file for it.

    basically you need to write it as a text file:

    [autorun]
    open=Filename.exe
    icon=Filename.ico

    then save it as autorun.inf and put it in the root of CD when you burn it. Try if fisrt with just the .ico file

    how that helps a bit

    ok....
    is it possible say this...
    a .mpg..or a media file
    to auto run right away...for instance instead of filename.exe

    i'm going to try to use some sort of flash intro or a short movie to open first....
