Hi guys. First, if there is already a thread or guide out there on this topic, it would be great if someone could redirect me to it. If not, I wonder if someone could give me a few basic pointers on how to burn .avi files to a DVD-R or DVD+R such that I can select episodes from a menu. I want to burn some scenes from my travels in Europe, and it would be great if I could split them into categories by way of some kind of menu. (I don't need help re-encoding files and such, just wondering what are some of the better apps or programs out there that can handle episodes.)

If converting to .m2v and .mp2 doesn't mess up your plans, DvdAuthorGUI
is a nice little freeware DVD authoring app for Windows that can do menus. Here's a guide for it:

I don't bother with the menus but I've been using it for a while with chapter points and subtitles and it's a nice app if you're not doing anything too exotic. Plus it's free so... :)

    Hi there,

The latest version of VSO DivxToDVD v1.99.17 Pre-Release will now create a menu.

1 entry in the menu for each file !

    Give it a try !
