When you author a DVD and save it to .iso format, you don't burn the .iso file as a data file. Your burning software should have an option to burn an image. In Nero Burning Rom, as example, close the wizard, don't select any disc formats. Just open the Recorder menu and select
"Burn Image". Select the .iso file. The .iso file already knows what kind of disc it is. It's an image of the disc structure and data as it is.

You can also use DVD Decrypter in iso write mode to burn as long as the file is under the 4.3gb limit. If it is over run it through DVD Shrink and then burn.
