This is a tutorial for how to make wallpapers for your
cellphone using only a freeware program.

I have motorola v180 so this tutorial is basically for v180 but applies to any cellphone if you know your phone's resolution.

First off we need gimp for editing pictures, you can download it here:
    http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

Make sure you get gtk+ 2 too, gimp won't work without it. Once gimp is installed, find a picture that you like and open it with gimp. Since I'm hardcore anime fan, I'm using this hellsing picture ^_^

    Use the crop-tool ( [IMG] )
to select an area of the picture you like as your background.

For v180 (and most nokia s40 phones with square screen) make sure that the ratio
is 1,00 so the final picture won't distort.

Now we have a 1:1 picture and it needs to resized before it's a final background.
Now select image->scale. Resize your picture to 128x128 after that save it to .jpg
    and upload to your phone.
