Thanks for this great Tutorial. With it I have created several gameboots and CIntro boots. I have a question though. How do I make the gameboots play longer? Is this something that I need to do in the stream composer? I have seen people with gameboots that are 44 secs long! How do I do this? Any help would be great.
Alright, after hours and hours of searching, I have found out how to make them play longer. The only problem is that it only works with CIntro's and I would strongly suggest the no flash method for this. There is a program called "pmfcreater" (not a typo, thats the actual name)that will convert your "00001.mps" to "gameboot.pmf" and it will also allow you to chose how long the file will play for. I have tested up to 25 seconds and it works great! Hope this helps someone.
You can't brick your psp by simply replacing your gameboot.pmf file in flash0.All u need to do is backup your Flash0 and flash1 to your pc before you start messing around with it just to be on the safe side. And i think your gameboot needs to be 2 seconds long and also make sure u rename the file to gameboot.pmf before flashing to your flash0.
I'm completely satisfied with the "game over claw" pmf from prince of Persia! I mean who wouldn't enjoy opening every game with "slash slash and a splat of blood" yay! blood!
Hey could someone help me? whenever i click encode in winmenc, it doesn't work. all it does is flash a black screen really quickly so u can barely even see it. then theres no video in my output folder (my desktop) i've been trying this tutrorial for about 3 months now and i've gone on a million different sites including a video i found on youtube using this tutorial but no one can seem to help me.
