Making ISO from a protected CD

    Hi all,

    I would like to make iso files from protected CDs (games)

    when I did a scan using A-Ray, it reported the following:

    CD1: SafeDisc 2.05.030 detected
    CD2: Signs on CD/DVD indicate SafeDisc 2/3
    CD3: Signs on CD/DVD indicate SafeDisc 2.51
    CD4: SafeDisc 2.40.010 detected
    CD5: SafeDisc 1.11.000 detected

    if what i did was useless, plz tell me the steps... and plz be as detailed as possible coz i dont know much about those things

    Oyabin I have a feeling you are new to this. Ok, first, what you did was not a waste of time. To be able to make ISO backups of your games you need to know the type of protections they have.

    Try Alcohol 120%, very very useful for that. Alcohol has options for SafeDisc 2/3, but not for SafeDisc 2.

    What game is it? If you cannot do it with Alcohol, maybe I can help if you tell me the specific game.
