It is worth checking out a guide for dvd lab, it really isnt as tough as you might think and can be really rewarding if you put the effort in. doom9.org have a good guide thats worth checkin out and im sure you will find in one on afterdawn too. If your looking for something simple and straight forward then you will be quite limited with what you can create. TMPGEnc dvd author is fairly simple and you can make pretty neat menus with it too. Alternatively, a lot of avi to dvd converters have built in authoring options. Examples of these are vso's convert x to dvd, nero and ulead dvd movie factory, but once again, you may be a little limited with what you can do. Hope this helps
