Hi, I have a video file (RMVB but I can convert it to AVI) that has dual audio. The left side of the speaker is one language while the right speaker is another. I want to make it so that the right speaker is the only sound and make it so that both speakers have it. (I know how to do this on computer playback already using media player classic). Problem is, I'm burning these on DVD to watch on the tv set. I have use Nero 6 Vision to burn the DVD's. So now there's 2 languages at the same time. Is there a way I can convert the videos so that the right speaker is translated into the only sound?
AVI with two channel audio - different languages per channel. Load/drag file into VirtualDub. Video > Direct Stream Copy Audio > Full Processing Mode Audio > Conversion Select 'Left' channel then 'OK'. Play the output (Main Window, lower left, third button (an arrow with an 'O')) Verify that this is the audio required - else go back and select the 'Right'channel. Audio > Compression > No Compression > OK File > Save WAV - give the file a name and save it. Audio > Audio from other file : select the saved WAV file. Audio > Conversion > 48000, High Quality, Stereo - OK Audio > Compression > select Lame MP3, 48000, 128 CBR Stereo - OK File > Save as AVI - give the file a name and save it. Requires VirtualDub http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Virtualdub And Lame MP3 ACM codec http://users.tpg.com.au/mtam/install_lame.htm
