im somewhat new and wanted to know if when playing mame on the xbox did i have to do anything special to the mame games itself or can i jus use flashxp put the games in mame folder and start playing? i'd appreciate any help thanks all
most of the roms should transfer right over, but some of the roms names are too long and need to be shortened in order to work. The Xbox is real senisitive when it comes to file trasfering, I think it only supports character that are 25 digits and below. what you can do though is when you UPLOAD, use wsftp because if there is any error while uploading, it will give you a reason why, not just say error like flash Fxp.
so the same mame roms i download and play on my pc can transfer and work on my xbox? Or do i have do download special mame roms for xbox.
