Hi everybody, sorry about this but I am totally newbie with digital cameras. I just bought a Sony DVD203, and after completing the first DVD-RW minidisc I transfer it to my PC and realized that each single shot is recorded as a mpg file!!! I thought that this was because I didnt finalized the disc before transfering, but this was noy the case because after finalizing and transfering it the same thing happened with the mpgs. My question is: if I burn all these mpgs into a 4.7 GB DVD-R, can I see the movies directly in a standard DVD player?
If don't, what can I do?

    Best regards.

They would need converted to DVD compliant files you can use DivXtoDVD for this it is a very simple process. it just take time to process your files. Then burn with your favorite burning software.

Depending on your DVD player, you may be able to burn them as files on a Data DVD. The ones I've viewed that way on my stand-alone DVD player looked kind of "washed out" compared to the same videos processed to DVD compliant files with a higher bitrate. But it may be good for "quick and dirty" way to see the movies from a DVD+RW on your TV before deciding to spend the time to encode to DVD.
