herese what I did i followed the SID 4 softmod tutorial on this site i did it perfectly fine i downloaded FlashFXP i downloaded dothalo i downloaded ppf o matic i downloaded cmr I changed the battle rifle to be fully auto and dual wieldable with the tutorials i found on another site i make a ppf patch in dotHalo went into cmr and resigned the map that i had applied the patch to. Sent the map back to my xbox w/ UnleashX dash. Now, I've got the following problems -Not one single MP map will load...it gets to the countdown and says "Waiting for everyone to load the map" and will stay there forever. -Cannont sign into xbox live at all(Maybe I'm doing the dual-boot thing wrong, but i have absolutely no intention of playing on xbl with modded maps, i just want to play normally, which I can no longer do) - Backwash used to load, but no longer does. Can somebody please help me out here? all I want to do is play halo again. the campaign maps work, but nothing works in multiplayer. If nobody has an idea about whats going on, can I uninstall the softmods?Somebody help me get my multiplayer maps to work
maybe try resigning the maps again with another program, didnt you makie backups of the original maps? and anyway you dont want to go on live with a softmod installed, they will catch you. if you want to play with modded maps on live, just fix the map loading problem and then restore your ms dahs, or you could set your ip to dhcp and keep the unleashx or evox dash. i cant think of anything else that would help you.
alright i don't think i added this before -- originally, i thoght i could just change the map with dot Halo then FTP it back into the xbox. i didnt resign it or anything. is that why nothing works?
al i've got the maps to work... but xbox live still isn't working but i thought with sid 4 and Unleash X you could go on xbl as long as your not using modded maps?
the death sentence has showed up:O whenever i put halo2 in, i get the "Your Xbox requires customer suppport" message. At this point, i just want the softmods off. UnleashX still loads. How do i remove them? thanks for any support, Matt
