matrix chip no jumpers

    hi,ive got a matrix chip fitted and need to reflash it but it has no jumpers on the board,how do i go about flashing this.

    do you have the dip switch? it should be black with 2 little white switches on it, if not, you dont have a matrix chip.

    the chip has no dip switches but the name matrix comes up on the consoul.

    max - do you mean the dip switches on the matrix? like as in, you have them and need to know what mode it needs to be in?

    the chip had no dip switchs on it apparently its well old,so purchased new xecuter2

    everthing started out ok,then wouldnt play my backup of colin mcrae or pgr then it would after several attemps seems very strange maybe the laser in my dvd drive needs cleaning ill get a cleaning disk today and let you know the outcome.
    p.s. it is fitted with a samsung drive i thought they were supposed to be better than the others...
