Does anyone know if it is possible to flash the matrix chip without the programmer? I just got the chip yesterday and i think my programmer is bad or something cause it wont connect to anything. tried 5 different systems, holding it in, various new and older batteries, etc, etc. Any info helps_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Darthnip Way more stuff than I care to put down here. try connecting it directly to the printer port on the pc. I heard sometimes the cable is the problem.
connecting what? and what cable? I'm asking if the first flash can be done with the chip in the xbox instead of with the programmer cause i think mine is bad. I know not to use a cable, i just cant get any system to recognize the programmer.
from what i know, yes it can be flashed inside the box, but i dont know about the first initial flash.
