    looking for cdrom0:\ then it goes to searching hdd but the he said
    cannot find hdd

    do i need to have an internal hdd? i have an external 160gb

    you need to download the version that supports the Slim with external HD download this

    http://www.sksapps.com/mis/uLaunchELF_v3.51.zip

    Hope that helps there the both of them in there and a read me but just use the BOOT_slim_PStwo.ELF one. :) Hope it works out for yah :)

    PS I havent a HD with my slim but i think you can load uLaunchELF onto the HD and then you only have to

    LAUNCHING HDD APPLICATION (DEV2 MODE):
    --------------------------------------

    - Press L1 on joypad 1.
    - If [bold]correctly[/bold] installed, the default application will be executed from the HDD.

    :-( Sorry but not to sure what correctly means, that means you dont have to put the cd in just hold down L1. :)

    @Dude2099

    Look at his sig, he doesnt have a slim with HD-Connect like you might be thinking, looks like he maybe had a V9/10 with a USB HDD.

    @oddish

    Yes you will need the HDD to be installed to the Sony network addaptor then plug all that into your PS2. It sould work great after that.

    hmmmmm just a hunch but try going to mass because that normally goes to what is plugged into usb.
