Had a modbo clone installed to my PS2 Slim at a computer fair - reflashed it and killed it.. so bought a new GENUINE one from modman.com Fitted it as per instructions - started up PS2.. everything works fine. Matrix logo comes up, Matrix config menu comes up when you press triangle/circle... It even has the words infinity 1.39 under the Sony playstation symbol. It plays ORIGINAL games but won't spin up DVDR games or Movie DVDs of any kind. I tried reflashing with 1.46 firmware.. it worked fine - now the logo says 1.46 but it still won't play backups. Is there a soldering error I've made (I've double checked with the instruction sheet) - anyone else seen this problem?
if you use modbo modchip,don't update firmware to 1.5 or other version (etc 1.4X),the 1.39 is better. my ps2 70006 is broken...use modbo v1.1 update firmware to 1.5,can not boot any game...
how much? ORIGINAL Matrix Infinity chip ... i'm in china ,can not buy this modchip. i want have a DMS4Pro.this modchip is very nice.support ToxicOS and can play more use HDDLOADER game.
