Hello, I'm new Don't flame me please Well I'm about to purchase a matrix infinity chip for my ps2, it looks like an amazing chip, but I want to make sure it actually IS, by asking 2 questions 1. Did it run region free/backups? 2 How was the install any difficulties/suggestions before I begin? Thanks!
agree with above. Yes it is a good chip, one of the top 3 and an install depends on your skill level. Unless you are very good with a soldering iron i would not attempt it yourself. and do your research before you buy a chip. Depending on what you want to do. for example a Crystal Chip V2.0 (after flashed with firmware from the internet) can auto patch your back up games for online play. if not you have to manually patch them. DMS4 Pro SE (also after flash, same as any chip) has a built in cheat device, built in HD Loader for running internal hard drives, and a homebrew (ELF file) loader all built in. also other features like it can load a dual layer (DVD9) back up without patching it. And has programs you can use with it (Toxic Mega Pack) which can run USB hard drives. The Crystal Chips can also boot DVD9 back-ups on the fly without patching. The new BootManger for the Crystal Chips now has In Game Rest (IGR) much like all the Xbox hacked bios/dashes.
