I have a tiny computer (I KNOW, I KNOW... MY FATHER BOUGHT IT) with pinacle burning software. audio cds burn but my burner drive is not registering blank dvds, i have tried about 4 different makes of disk but my drive will not register any of them. CDs register fine. when i try to bur movies every burning software i have downloaded always says "INSERT A BLANK DISK" or "I/O DEVICE ERROR" PLEASE HELP I AM LOSING MY RAG WITH MY PC!!!
I'm sure the universal questions and answers apply here: What model and firmware is your burner? What is the media(code) of the blank discs you're using? Are your programs up-to-date? Are your devices set to DMA? Do you have the ASPI drivers installed?
