Recently, i've got my DVD-drive replaced to MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ 850S. I strongly believe that my previous drives spoilt was due to the blank DVD im using. I'm using MITSUBISHI DVD-R 16x SPEED/EX. Is there any recommendations of any better kind or blank DVD to use? I don't wish to spoil the drive again. Thanks.
The media usually doesn't damage a drive unless the media is damaged when you put in in the drive. I recommend Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden as some the most compatible media around.
