I have a HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop with a Matshita DVD-ram UJ-851s DVD Drive. The trouble is when i try and burn dual layer dvd's with imgburn or nero using DVD+R DL they just wont burn. It burns CD-R,and DVD-R great. Can anyone comfirm does it burn onto DVD+R DL or DVD-R DL, or is cos it not working wright??

    It does aupport -R & + R DL burning up to 4x.
    What brand are you using?
Matshita really isn't that great of a drive in my experience. For it I would only use Verbatim dual layers rated 4x or less. I still wouldn't be confident it would burn them.

Check HP's site and see if by chance they have a firmware update for it.

    Not a problem spedd

You probably are at the latest firmware - there is not much support firmware wise for these burners usually.
Looks like the discs you are using are made by Ritek -so so media.
So switch the media to Verbatim +R - it's looking like a media issue.
