Hi, I am having problems getting all the channels on my eurovox.
    System Info:
    Model :DVB-XC Box V TDA
    S/w Version :1.0 STC4 Apr 11 2008
    H/w Version :2.0t K5
    Bootstrap :v001
    S/w Build Kuro.

    Current Code:
    Provider :5E 01
    ***removed by loco***

I have ch***s cable and live in Athlone (middle of Ireland). So far I have used HiTechs guide in the thread 'Eurovox Flashing Guide for the Blue Red Max V....' but only got 32 channels, all of which say 'please wait, code being updated'. I tried symbol rate 6875 from 100MHz to 770 MHz.

The box worked fine for me in Galway on N** cable, but I think I need different codes and frequencies for Ch***s in Athlone. Has anybody got the most up to date codes & frequencies for my situation?

I'm thinking maybe sc0user or Hitech could help me out, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As per LOCO's post there is no posting of codes allowed. I would recommend updating to the 18/04/08 firmware, your one will work however for want of a word, this is a "better" version.

Are you sure you are on Ch**us cable and not MMDS. I know some parts of Athlone have been recently upgraded. If you are on cable try entering these frequencies manually, using 6875 as the symbol rate:

    324
    340
    348
    356
    364
    372
    386.750
    394.750
    410.750
    418.750
    418.750
    444
    452
    460

Thanks sc0user, I did that and got about 70 channels, some of which were duplicates, but all still say please wait, code being updated. And when I go to menu and press yellow all the co*es are back to 00.
    We are def cable btw.

If I install that firmware on the box will the box be able to update the codes automatically? If not, is there somewhere on the net to get these codes or is it a case of getting them off a friend of a friend?

I'll try the update tomorrow but need to get the cable for connecting laptop to box first. Can the null modem cables be purchased in electrical shops? Don't have credit card to buy online.

Apologies LOCO about the codes, I have been researching/googling this all day and saw many posts with codes listed so I just posted before seeing the rule.
