They have The Sony /Taiyo Yudens ! also have an OFFICEDEPOT right next door !!!! and a Killer Chinese Resturaunt! Guess which one I prefer LOL! Oh and did I mention that Blockbuster is directly across the street ! So many Dumpsters so little time LOL! Just figure that If anyone throws a Maxell sale I'd pick up some japanese Maxells on the cheap ! Pricematched of course ! Also probably doe'snt seem weird to you but that was the 1st. time I;ve seen the Maxell/Hitachi's -japanese in a pack of more than 25 ! i've seen 3 packs & 10 packs -singles & 25 packs ! but never 50ct. spindles until now ! On my last venture to FutureShop, low and behold, 16X +R Maxell media, all MIT. I don't need media, so didn't purchase. I always look for MIJ anyways. VideoHelp.com has reports of 16X Maxell +R media coding out as CMCMag and Phillips, each with 1 report. If I ever pick up a Maxell CMCMag disc, they will lose me as a loyal customer.
ae86akina- If it is made By Ritek for MAXELL then no - If it CMC or nearly anything else then yes ! You could always bring them back ! with a receipt at most storea ! You could always Just Buy the Made in Japan Maxells - They're made by Maxell/ hitachi - Hitachi is Maxells parent company ! Or if you have used the MaXells (taiwan made) By Ritek aand like them wait for OFFICEDEPOT to have a sale on their Store brand OFFICEDEPOT media ! AS the 8x DVD media is made by ritek just like the maxells( taiwans) only they are normally cheaper than the maxells ! Good Luck with whatever media you choose ! & happy burning!
"If anyone wants some quality store brand media, The Office Depot 8x are ritek media.G05 on thier dash 8x and R-03 on the plus 8x. Their +16x are Ricohjpn-r03.I'm not sure of the dash 16x OD media. "Thus sayeth The SAUGMON ! Happy burning !ae86akina-
I still haven't encountered anyone using those Office Depot dash 16x's.I'm curious to see what MID code is on them. I've never seen any ricoh dash media.
