    Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the "secure" size is for DVD2ONE to create a backup. Standard is 4472 but I'm experiencing some problems : lead out errors mostly!
So I'm wondering : if I put a little less data on the dvd it might work fine!!

PS: is the lead in and lead out always the same size and how much is this?

    THX

If you get problems, set it to 4300MB and work your way upm to a stable amount. I have mine set at 4450MB no problems. Even try 4400MB first.

    Thx Oriphus,

I will try 4400MB!Hope it will work fine now!!

Is there a known size for lead in and lead out?
Or is this different for each backup?

It'll depend on hardware/hardware config or software...

    I have a Pioneer 104 & haven't had a leadin/out problem as of yet [ a few years of owning one ]

using 4472MB works fine for me. ive even gone higher and am using 4484MB and this works great too, no problems experienced.

i think the problem is likely to be media related. i use ritek GO4 4x media with my sony dru-500a.
