Ok. I know the cube won't read game data larger than a Mini-DVD, but will the Qoob? Example: I fill an entire DVD with music, and pop it into the Qoob. Will the Qoob read the whole thing, or just up to the Mini-DVD's capacity? I guess what I'm asking is is the laser limited by software or hardware?

You know I was wondering the EXACT same thing. I read you can make multidisks where you can compile 2-3 games on a single dvd. But that will exceed the 1.4gb limit, how can the GC read the other games then? Maybe cube can read a full dvd might need to burn and try it.

By Qoob, do u mean Panasonic Q?

But those multi-game discs, games are usually smaller than 1.4Gb, and rest of space is filled with ones or zeros, and to make more than 1 games on 1 disc, just remove the garbage data off and put many games in one disc.

It looks like the laser doesn't use the whole tray opening when it reads mini-DVDs.
