I looked at the compatibility list on hdandvance.com and I was wondering if a different hdd would work. I was looking at a MAXTOR DIAMONDMAX PLUS 9 200GB SATA HARD DRIVE NEW OEM Sealed Maximum Capacity of 200.0 GB SATA /150 Model 9.3 ms Average Seek Time 8MB Cache Buffer FDB Motors 7200 RPM (on e-bay), but the only maxtor hdd with 200GB on hda.com was a diamondmax Plus 10, would this one still work??
i never said it was a SATA, & ciderv2 already said it wasn't compatable. i was just statin that the 200 gig diamondmax plus 9 is compatable
Is this compatible, the maxtor Diamond Max Plus 9, 250GB ATA/133?? Whats the difference between ata and sata? I know the sata drives aren't compatible jus wanna know if ata ones are!! Sorry for noob questions
yes, ata hard drives are ide hard drives and are compatible....sata hard drives do not run off the standard ide cables so you wouldn't even be able to connect it to your network adapter.
Does any one know about a Cicero Maxtor 160GB 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive? Its IDE but I dont want to buy it if it doesn't work.
i'm not sure, but if you search the forums i found a link a while ago that had a list of compatible hard drives
Does anyone know if hda 2.0 can read more than 200gig hard drive, I want to get a 250 but don't want to take any chances, does anyone have more than 200gig hard drive here?
HDA 2.0?? Do you have that in a .ELF or the disc? IF not, does any one know where I could find HdAdvance 2.0, the MC exploit version??
