Ok, I'm a Western Digital guy for the most part but Staples had a heckuva deal on Maxtor 200GB HD's so I bought 3. ($80 each out the door). My rig now consists of 4-200GB Maxtors. I upgraded the PSU to 600W. My problem occurs with PartitionMagic 8.0 (Not the Norton version). My Windows XP Partition is 50GB and its extended partition is 143GB roughly. I used the provided Maxtor software to partition the HD's. Once I get past loading WinXP SP2, I started to get an error100 (partition table bad) when I try to use PM 8.0. Going into disk management, every partition shows fine and so far, no operational issues. Is this some abberation of the PM8.0 sw? My formatting of course is NTFS on all drives. Can anyone recommend better disc partitioning software? Where am I making that wrong turn during partitioning? Lastly, is there a size limit of a WinXP SP2 partition?
