Well i have an older HDTV and was going to get the SHARP LC-52D62U 52-IN HDTV AQUOS LCD HDTV. http://www.plasmabay.com/plasma/product.asp?ref=PRCEGRAB&sku=LC52D62U And well is it a good quality HDTV and worth the money? If you have found it cheaper plz let me know. Also i plan on playing my PS3 360 and Wii on it.
ha i think i have the exact one, well i know i have a 52 inch Sharp Aquos. i got it about 3 weeks ago. as for the visuals, i have a wii and it looks great. i have the wii set at 480i or 480p, and im not sure if the wii can go any higher than that. im planning on getting a ps3 so im not sure how that would look. i dont have my HD cable box set up yet but for what i have tried in non-HD devices the picture quality was excellent. I really really can not reccomend it, not becuase its bad or anything but i dont know about it compared to other tvs. my parents bought it and they said in circuit city there were HDTVs lined up and the Sharp was the clear winner. as for the cons there are only 2 HDMI inputs, so you may have a problem if you plan on using a PS3, HD cable box and dvd player(with HDMI)since those are 3 devices for the 2 inputs. this is the first HDTV i have ever owned but compared to the old tv it looks amazing(duh. hope that helps oh yeah my parents said they paid $3,500 for it
Hey well thx. I only plan on using the 2 HDMI ports for my PS3 and my PC. But i really appreciate the helpful response! Anyone else have anything to add?

Broken89, I think you asked some great questions. By the end of second quarter this year, HDMI 1.3 will be standard in all new model HDTV's. Seeing that you have an HDTV right now, I would defintely hold off until the new products arrive on the scene. I was at CES 2007, and there is a LOT coming out. Sony's Bravia line will add HDMI 1.3. There 70" LCD was the best screen of the show, and the technologies it showcased will be inherited by the smaller versions. Second was the Sharp Aquos D92U series which was astounding. Check out the site in my signature for more details. I'm really pushing this site as it has so much information that I see people here asking over and over again. Best of luck!
