I got a a question for you quys. First of all, I'm going to give you the background infomation as to why I want to take this course. I want to buy AVID HD PRO and put in on my computer, but it requires Windows XP PRO. If anyone knows if i can run it on MCE 2005, speak up.

Otherwise, I will have to upgrade to XP Pro. What I'd like to know is if it is possible to upgrade to XP PRO and keep the MCE 2005 componets. I quess I could install another Windows partition? I don't really use the MCE that much because i had to pull the TV Turner for a Firewire card. Anyway, any tips would be appreceiated.

    Thanks folks!

For the most part Windows MCE is XP Pro minus a few features like being able to use in on a Windows Domain and stuff. Have contacted AVID on this?

Good luck with that. That is some powerful video editing software.

Yea, and I really need to learn how to use it. It's not on any of the PCs at school and what few Macs it is on are always in use...so I don't see many options for me.
